Inservice Based Education

"The Way Skin Stays Healthy" is a comprehensive inservice training program on the topics of hand hygiene, bathing, and incontinent care. The program consists of two individual training units which can be easily incorporated into your institution's ongoing training curriculum. Comprehensive videotapes clearly and completely demonstrate step-by-step procedures for proper hand hygiene and skin care. This inservice program will also help you meet OSHA and JCAHO training requirements.

The first unit teaches the importance of hand hygiene and demonstrates proper handwashing, hand sanitizing, and hand moisturizing techniques. The second unit teaches hand hygiene, as well as tub and shower bathing, and personal and incontinent care.
